Call for Abstracts


    For the 2019 National Environmental Justice Conference and Training Program

    The 2019 National Environmental Justice Conference and Training Program (NEJC) planners are inviting individuals to submit abstracts, not to exceed two pages, related to environmental justice. Each abstract should include the submitter’s name, affiliation, full contact information, and the amount of time being requested. The overall theme of the NEJC is “Enhancing Communities Through Capacity Building and Technical Assistance.”

    The conference planners are interested in panel presentations, workshops, training modules, case studies, best practices and success stories in all environmental justice related areas. Individuals selected to present or moderate will serve on a voluntary basis. All moderators and presenters must register for the conference. Since registration is free for most participants, conference travel expenses and hotel accommodations will be at the participant’s expense.

    Because of chemical sensitivity of many people, we are requesting that attendees wear unscented toiletry items. Images from this conference may be captured, published and distributed.

    Images of NEJC participants may be captured by conference photographers and published or distributed.
