Call for Abstracts

For the 2020 National Environmental Justice Conference and Training Program

The 2020 National Environmental Justice Conference and Training Program planners are inviting individuals to submit abstracts, not to exceed two pages, related to environmental justice. Each abstract should include the submitter’s name, affiliation, full contact information, and the amount of time being requested.

The 2020 National Environmental Justice Conference and Training Program will be held jointly with the 13th National Conference on Health Disparities on April 22-25, 2020 in Washington, D.C., similarly as was done in 2016. The conference planners are interested in abstracts for general session panel presentations, workshops and training modules in all environmental justice related areas. Individuals selected to present will serve on a voluntary basis. All presenters must register for the conference. Conference travel expenses and hotel accommodations will be at the participant’s expense.

A limited amount of financial assistance funds for travel, on a reimbursable basis, may be available for grass roots community representatives, tribal, and student conference participants who are presenters at the 2020 National Environmental Justice Conference and Training Program. If you are submitting an application for travel assistance, please submit it simultaneously with your abstract.

    Abstracts must be sent to:
